Wall hanging of embroidered linen canvas with wool and silk in tent and cross stitches. With 17 warps and 14 wefts to the inch. The border of approximately 9 inches wide is filled with grotesque demi-figures, cherubs, animals, birds, plumed masks of lions, fruit and flowers. In the angles of the corners are four panels each containing a word with a symbol: 'VICTVS', 'TECTVM', 'COCORDIA' and 'OPVS'. The central panel has a motif of a group of eight people in rich costume representing a meeting between mounted noblemen and a lady of rank.
