Wefts: blue, yellow, green and brown silk and silver-gilt strip S-wound on a yellow silk core. Gold ground with a repetition of one motif in an ogival grouping with pairs of serrated leaves at the base below a white vase edged with green and containing an abundance of white and blue flowers. Between these are 4 curved serrated leaves which form an X shape with a blue and white flower where they meet. Above and below the X is a small flower and pair of leaves. Filling the spaces is a vertical blue S- or Z-bar with a white rosette in the middle of a green and blue flower. These small floral sprigs create a zigzag band of motifs between the bands of ogees.
