At the top and bottom is a floral motif of thistles, shamrock and rose. In between is the Prince of Wales's feathers with the motto 'Ich Dien', a wreath about the names 'ALBERT EDWARD PRINCE OF WALES AND PRINCESS ALEXANDRIA OF DENMARK', the words 'MARRIED MARCH 10 1863.
