Description

Unidentified shield of arms (azure, two bars or, in chief three escallops of the second) impaling the arms of Pindar. The shield fashioned from silk and rolled strips of coloured and gilded paper, surrounded by elaborate mantling and decorative borders, also of rolled paper. Mounted on silk in a box frame.
