Silk, satin weave of two-color complementary ground wefts with supplementary patterning wefts and some self-patterning ground wefts bound in twill interlacings and self-patterned by reversing of faces

Silk and silvered-metal-strip-wrapped silk, warp-float faced 7:1 satin weave with supplementary brocading wefts and supplementary binding warps tying some self-patterning ground wefts in plain interlacing

Across the top are rows of letters and numbers.  The initials "M.S.D." and the date 1735.  Below are parrots, a dog, pots and vases of flowers and a basket of fruit.  Across the bottom are rectangular spaces worked with various stitches.

Un médaillon ovale encadré de fleurs représente en camaïeu Diane au repos au milieu de ses nymphes. Ce tableau est encadré de guirlandes de fleurs, de trophées de chasse (carquois, trompes, flèches...), d'animaux (chiens, tête de cerf, faucon), deux figures de nymphes s'inscrivent sur un fond bleu et contre-fond jaune. La bordure est formée de baguettes liées par des feuilles. Portière au chiffre du roi de Pologne Stanislas Leszcynski S.R. (Stanislas Rex) dans les angles de la bordure et à ses armes (Pologne-Lithuanie et Leszcynski) au dessus de la tête de cerf.
