Behind them are other figures working in the field, raking hay and loading it onto a cart. One man is asleep against a haystack. On the left is a cow. Behind trees in the background is a village and in the front is a stream with a lock. The border contains a curling wine leaf in brown and green-yellow on a slate coloured ground. In the top border is woven a sign of the zodiac 'Leo'.
