Description

The complete piece would have been intended for use as a garment, clothing. Fragment of green mashru (silk and cotton satin), brocaded with horizontal zigzag bands in gold-wrapped thread. Textile, mashru, woven cotton and silk, Aurangabad, ca. 1855-1879
