Description

Fragment of dark blue silk, resist-dyed, printed with a lattice of yellow spots, the hem dip-dyed in pink. Printed in imitation of the tie-dyed silk kerchiefs used by parsis. Textile, fragment, printed silk, Surat, ca. 1855-1879
