Description

Right front and back, and left front of a man’s theatre costume waistcoat made from an 18th-century waistcoat shape of cream silk satin embroidered with coloured silks. No buttonholes have been worked or buttons added; it fastens with hooks and eyes at the front. The collar has been misapplied, there are pockets on the inside and welts applied on the outside.
