Description

woven silk, 1859, British This was reputed to have been designed by Prince Albert. It was used to decorate the walls of Buckingham Palace Ballroom until 1902. The design incorporates the national devices of England (Tudor rose), Scotland (thistle) and Ireland (shamrock).
