Description

Intended for use in embellishments for textiles. Slip book entry notes, 'used as trimmings'. Textile, fragment, woven silk, gold and silver wire, Madras, ca. 1855 Fringe of gold and silver flattened wire, attached to a narrow band of silver-wrapped thread.
