Trade sampler.  Fine white linen ground on which initials, ciphers, and coronets are worked with white linen in satin stitch.   Some names have German, some have English form.  Embroidered with initials, ciphers, and coronets worked in satin stitch. Initials in center "A.R." possibly for Adelaide Regina, wife of William IV, Adelaide of Saxe-Melningen, married in 1818, formed by roses, thistles, and shamrocks. embroidered in satin stitch and cutwork with needlelace fillings.

Two pieces, rectangular.  On a dark brick-red ground, a unit repeated horizontally and vertically: a Chinese temple surrounded by trees and flowers in blue, green (faded to blue), shades of red, white and yellow.  Glazed.  Faded; several small holes.

A piece of polychrome printed cotton, arranged with top of design running parallel to selvedge instead of across fabric from selvedge to selvedge; light tan background with dark brown shaded picotage, against background of alternate rows of small-scale flowers in sprays and wreathes and interlacing links enclosing lozenges, interlaces forming roundels, in each roundel a spray of small-scale flowers growing up.

Rectangular piece, made of two fragments. On a natural ground, a virtually symmetrical design showing in center a fluted column interrupted at frequent intervals by heavily elaborated Ionic capitals carrying bunches of fruit and flowers. On each side, flanking column, a row of baskets carrying fruit and flowers. Shades of brown, blue and red. Faded; several holes and tears, one mended. Partial selvedges on both sides.

Tambour work.  Machine made net, the ege is finished in scallops; in each scallop is worked a spray of leaves and an open flower.  Stained.  Two duplicates.
