Description

Print made by Shuncho I, Japan, nineteenth century. Portrait format print, of two courtesans taking air, surrounded by attendants, on a gold ground. The courtesans are denoted by their elaborate kimonos and obis and their elaborate hairstyles. The print is signed 'Yushido Shuncho.'
