Description
Panel, possibly made from a cape. Three breadths of green velvet, brocaded with gold, sewed together, ends and lower corners made of small pieces. Design: undulating stems bearing large leaves and conventionalized fruit and foliage forms, pomegranate/pinecones. Velvet, two heights of pile, small areas in uncut piles, gold loops, and flat gold brocading. Worn, some wax stains.
