Coarse white linen.  Across the bottom is a deep border of conventional floral forms worked with red cotton and in cross stitch.  On two sides are worked, lines of red arranged in points.  Registered as German when given.

Ground: fine light neutral colored linen. Design: worked in many colored silks, horizontal band bordered by geometric pinks worked in crimson green, blue and cream silk through the center of the band is a row of hexagonal compartments connected by straight lines and squares enclosing stars, worked in satin stitch with crimson silk. Conventionalized angular trees, grow up and down from hexagonal and square compartments. Pairs of angular conventionalized birds perch on alternate trees.  Jars with conventionalized plants in the spaces between. Colors: crimson, blue, neutral blue, greenish blue, green, neutral yellow, brown, cream, and a little dark violet. Stitches: darn, satin, cross, plait, and chain. Pieced.

Three panels of linen worked in running, double running, darning, and cross stitches in polychrome silk threads and joined together with striped yellow and blue silk ribbon. Border design of large fantastical, peacock-like birds and jars of flowers (tulips, carnations etc.) on which small birds are perched. Center floral medallion flanked by stylized birds and flowers, and four men smoking pipes, worked in pastel colors (center panel probably added later). Finished at ends with buttonhole stitch in green silk, and small points of needle lace stitch with red silk.

Heavy ecru linen or cotton.  The all-over design of diamonds separated by long leaves, is darned with red silk.  The difference in the direction of the stitches gives variety to the color.

White linen; on the sides is darned a red stem with red, light green and cream white opposite leaves; across one end are similar leaves, diamonds, etc., on the other end are small forms made up of bent lines.

A curtain: dark blue and black stripes: edged with blue cotton knotted lace and tassels.  Split up the middle. (Formerly categorized as Indian).

Three widths of undyed linen seamed together embroidered with shades of red and orange silk in stylized vine motif. Good condition although one width is slightly faded.

Unbleached linen(?) embroidered with design of large red tulip-shaped buds detailed with stems bearing circular flowers, and blue leaf-like forms. Smaller forms are scattered over the ground. Border on three sides has design  of  undulating stem bearing red, blue and yellow leaves. Worked in deep blue, red, yellow and light green silks.

Natural colored linen; narrow red and green borders on each side.  In the middle a design of very conventional trees and birds of laid-work, embroidered with dull blue, bright green, red, violet and white silk.
