Embroidered square pillow case, ground of unbleached linen worked almost solidly with dark polychrome silks in stem, chain, and herringbone stitches, blue and orange predominating in design of long lance shaped curling ornamental leaves, with floral veins, rosette-like blossoms in interspaces, narrow stylized floral border on all four sides; condition poor, many breaks and holes, very soiled.
