Fragment of a curtain; cotton, copperplate-printed blue on white with the personification of America paying homage to France; a post 1789 version of this design in which the figure of France no longer wears a crown and the fleur de lis formerly decorating the orb no longer appears

"Les Quartes parties du Monde", designed by J. B. Huet. Ground: white, Design: printed in red from engraved copper plate. Asia is represented by an altar with attendants, camel and birds; Africa by woman wearing elephant headdress, and elephant, ostrich, lion, serpent, and children; America by savages capturing a crocodile.

Copperplate print in mauve on natural cotton. Medallions and scenes showing figures in classical style. Main scene shows Psyche holding lamp over the sleeping Eros. Ground divided into three strips, outer two showing scale pattern, inner showing lozenge trellis. Worn; a number of small holes and patches.

Buff-colored cotton ground, printed in pale pink and brown.  Pattern shows groups of pseudo-Chinese figures and architecture, ships, tropical plants and strings of paper lanterns.  Complete selvedges left and right.

Fine cotton ground, printed with block in red, yellow, blue and black.  Black ground covered with dark green miniature fern motifs, and scattered sprigs of various colors and shapes.  Selvedges left and right.

Woodblock print on coarse cotton, in red, blue and purplish-black.  On ground covered with black dots is an all-over design showing a single repeating motif: a bouquet of real and fantastic flowers, branches and leaves.  Selvedge on right side.  A few small holes.
