Description

The complete object would have been intended for use as a garment, clothing. Full-length section of a wrapped garment. Magenta silk warps and wefts with bands of yellow wefts at both ends. Plain field with side border with diaper pattern in white silk. Textiles, section of a silk garment, Coimbatore, ca. 1867.
