Dhoti fragments, white cotton with red and gold borders, Chanderi, ca. 1867
Parts of a sari with a white cotton field, a side border of red, green and white silk, with patterns in gold-wrapped thread, and an end border in horizontal bands of gold-wrapped thread and red and green silk.
The complete object would have been intended for use as a garment.
