Panel, made of a full width and a partial width, seamed along selvedges. Natural cotton tabby-woven ground, roller-printed in red. Background composed of shaded bands; pattern shows clusters of leaves and branches of bell-like flowers arranged in two undulating columns. Faded; brown stains. A few very small holes.

Compound satin weave in white silk.  Main body of piece has overall pattern of small sprigs of leaves.  At the bottom, a border of two undulating floral vines and below them a band of twill weave.  Selvedge on both sides.  At middle top, a seam.  Selvedge has many slits.
