Description

The complete object would have been intended for use as a garment, clothing. Textile, fragment, possibly from turban, silk and gold-wrapped thread, Coimbatore, ca. 1867 Large fragment of dark pink silk, with fine yellow squares and geometric borders of gold-wrapped thread on each side. Almost the entire end border has been removed.
