Intended for use as a garment, clothing. Textile, turnover shawl, silk, Bangalore, ca. 1855. Complete square silk turnover shawl, black field with blue, red and white floral repeat pattern, wide borders of pink, blue, white and black butas and floral meander minor borders. Borders attached separately. Fringes on all four sides.
