Burmese multi-coloured checked silk textile. Konbaung Dynasty (1752-1885), ca. 1850 Length of cloth of a repeating checker-board pattern of lime, orange, white and maroon on a deep pink ground. Possibly intended for a pah-soe (man's wrap around skirt).
