Embroidered with cross stitches; border on all four sides of minute strawberry vine, ground divided into 3 horizontal bands, in upper one: "The Lord is about my path and about my bed and spreft out all my ways", in center band stylized trees, paired birds, strawberries, dogs, and plants in urns, lower band stylized plants in urns, crowns and inscription: "Martha Phillcox aged 9 years 1843;" several small holes and breaks.

Christening pillow case and liner. Case: white lawn field edged in lace, band of lace inset near edge of field, family crest in center (swagged draperies caught back with tassled cord; crown surmounts center of swag; under drawn draperies is oval containing Greek cross, crescent and two crossd, leaping fish). Liner: white silk organdy. Used by Prince Constantin Belosselsky-Belozersky in Russia, 1843.  (Cf. 48.1239-44).

Circular christening tablecloth. Hexagonal mesh net with overall appliqued small dots, center medallion and border of leaf fronds, scalloped edge. Net centered on white silk satin encircles by stitched-down pleated ruffle. Used by Prince Constantin Belosselsky-Belozersky in Russia, 1843.  (Cf. 48.1239-43).
