Double fichu of cream silk machine-made lace, made in England, 1850s.
Double fichu of cream silk machine-made lace. Made on the Pusher machine with hand run outlines to the motifs and an applied picot edge. Overall pattern of large flower heads and delicate stems, and a gently scalloped edge.
