Gold ground, the design of symmetrically arranged bunches of flowers, etc., is woven with brown, red, reddish violet, blue, green, and greenish yellow silk, and silver cord.  Pieced.

An elaborate symmetrical design of conventionalized fruit and flowers woven with gold and silver thread, and outlines of pink, green and neutral violet silk.

Wide border on each end of punto-greco with a design of triangles grouped to form rampant animals and plants (?) growing in pots.  On the edges is narrow bobbin lace with tassels.  See note on T.2283.  Tela tagliata (ad ago) e merletto a fuselli.  Francesca Amari, 1907.

White silk ground covered by a design in white of small flowers, etc.; on this are large bunches of flowers, springing from vases and shell-like forms; woven with dark green, blue, pink , brown, and bright yellow silk.

White satin ground on which is part of a design of flowers and leaves; woven with strong green, black, pink, yellow and gray silk.  Much worn.

Across the top the alphabet and numbers. Below, various flowers, a rectangle bearing animals, a tree and blossoms. The lower half divided into rectangular areas bearing chevron motifs worked in various stitches. Polychrome silk yarns on linen ground. Condition good; black rotted out in spots.  Stitches:  Florentine, rococo, tent, two-sided Italian cross, upright gobelin, slanting gobelin.
