Bars of punto stuoia divide the design into two rows of squares in each of which the same devise is repeated.  Border on one side worked with red.  See notes on 95.984.

Threads of the linen used as a foundation, border a lattice like design, on lower edge is a design of animals worked with blue.  See notes on T.2289.

The arms are believed to be those of the Reichenburg family of Styria and the Reischacher family of Basil, and presumably refer to the man and woman who kneel to each side of the scene of The Mocking of Christ. St. George and the Dragon are shown at the top, a Last Judgment scene at the bottom.
