Description

Intended for use as garment, clothing. Sari, white cotton with cotton and silk borders, Madras, ca. 1855. Textile. Complete sari, white cotton field with side borders of rust coloured cotton and yellow silk. The pallu end has a horizontal band of metal-wrapped thread and rust and orange cotton.
