Description

Fabric of woven silk, Algeria, ca. 1870 Fabric of navy silk ground with a central vertical panel. One half of the panel is composed of fancy diamond motifs, the other half of circles with scallops divided by two horizontal lines. There is a white and red stripe on either side and fringes at both ends.
