This band, which belongs with another 66.377. It is decorated with a green laurel band filled with birds, fruits and flowers: at the center are two ducks amidst lotus, rose and pomegranates, and at each side are smaller birds nibbling at grapes. Horizontal tapestry strip of complete width and cut at top and bottom. Originally from the same hanging as 66.377. Weft: wool, S-spun, unplied except for areas where two colors are plied together for mottled effect (e.g., duck at right); warp: linen, S-spun, unplied, 2 or 3 strands together. Polychrome design.
