Register description describes object as being 'worn by nobility' in their youth. Wide-legged trousers of green brocaded silk with purple bands at waist and hem, with applied decoration of embossed and twisted silver and gold ribbon and tinsel fringes. Cotton fabric lining waistband, appears to be of European origin.
