Description

The complete piece would have been intended for use as a garment, clothing. Textile, cut length of silk, probably Punjab, ca. 1855-1879. Cut length of pink silk, with side and end borders featuring bands of gold-wrapped thread, and narrow bands of silver-wrapped and black thread in a chevron design.
