Description

Textile, embroidered wool book cover, Hyderabad, Sindh, ca. 1855. Intended for use as a book cover, for protection and decoration. Book cover, blue wool embroidered with flowers in satin stitched silk and gold-wrapped thread cartouches; the spine is also embroidered with flowers and leaves.
