Description

Intended for use as a garment, clothing. Fine woven silk shawl, probably muga silk, dyed yellow, with embroidered motifs and woven bands of coarser coloured silks at the end border. Textile, shawl, wovenand embroidered silk, Gauhati, ca. 1855
