Description

Intended for use as a garment, clothing. Textile, silk shawl, Bangalore, ca. 1855. Large deep pink shawl, with green buta repeat design and added borders with large green buta between bands of scrolling flowers. Parts of the border are reversible for display when worn folded. Complete piece.
