Mahogany box, lined with silk painted with floral designs. English, ca. 1790-1800.
Box, mahogany; the lid raised in the centre with concave sides; fitted with a drop handle on the lid and a key escutcheon on the box. Covered inside with silk painted in bright colours in floral designs.
