Description

Intended for use as a garment, clothing. Textiles, fragments of mashru, Tiruchchirappalli, ca. 1855. Fragments of red and green striped mashru with meander pattern in metal-wrapped thread, alternating with floral designs in yellow silk and metal-wrapped thread.
